The Flossbach von Storch Multi Asset Defensive is specifically designed for conservative investors who are prepared to accept moderate price fluctuations. With a mix of bonds, equities, gold and liquidity, you can generate returns and preserve the purchasing power of your assets over the long term.
The investment strategy
We invest your assets in the asset classes bonds, equities, convertible bonds and gold. The proportion of equities is limited to a maximum of 35 per cent of the fund's assets. With this investment strategy, we aim to preserve your assets over the long term and also leverage potential returns. Benchmark indices play no role in this. Instead, we focus on selecting high-quality stocks and bonds from high-quality companies.
The fund managers
Dr Tobias Schafföner (above) is Managing Director of Flossbach von Storch SE. After graduating with a degree in economics in 2011, he obtained his doctorate in political science in 2020. He has been with Flossbach von Storch since 2012. As Head of Multi Asset, he manages the multi-asset strategies together with Julian-Benedikt Hautz (left) and Stephan Scheeren (right). Julian-Benedikt Hautz studied business administration and has been a portfolio manager and investment analyst at Flossbach von Storch since 2017. Stephan Scheeren has been with the company since 2008. Prior to that, he worked as a portfolio manager and fund analyst at Bankhaus Lampe AG in Düsseldorf and studied banking and finance at the Technical University of Cologne.
